2017 Rainfall

For the third time in a row, Seattle has already clinched a much wetter-than-average month, with April rainfall closing in on 4 inches. When added to the incredibly soggy conditions that have persisted since last fall, that’s been enough to push the city to a new record for the wettest October-through-April period. 44.67″ of rain has swamped Seattle since Oct. 1 — breaking the previous high-water mark, set just last year, of 44.52″. Average rainfall in the seven months from October through April is just 30.38″.
