2014 Rainfall

After an exceptionally soggy spring, it’s barely rained in Seattle this summer—but when it has, it’s come in droves. More than a month’s worth of rain fell overnight from Aug. 12-13—just three weeks after a 0.76-inch dousing on July 23. Another storm pounded the city on Sept. 2, dumping over half an inch of rain in spots, but it mostly missed Sea-Tac Airport—where Seattle’s official weather records are kept.
